FIELD CLASSES

On the course of the educational process on the Biological Faculty of Tver State University I lead several fiels classes. They are primarily cover two first summer months and include field trips, where students are being taught the vertebrate and invertebrate fauna of the Central region of the Europaean Russia along with biology and ecology of its representatives. A special attention is being paid to the birds of the region and to the indentification skills using their songs and calls. Teaching to identify the fauna representatives by their traces and remnants is also under the scope of our classes. Spring trips to linstening to owls songs are traditionally organised during the second part of March - April, when mentioned birds are the most active vocally.
